About Jeju Island

Jeju Island is an oval-shaped volcanic island that is about 73km east-west and 41km north-south, and Hallasan Mountain, which is 1,950m high, stands tall in the center. Jeju Island, created by volcanic activity, boasts a variety of unique volcanic topography that the entire island is called a "volcano museum." More than 360 large and small oreums are spread out on the ground, and 160 lava caves are scattered throughout the island under the ground, and it is very rare in the world that there are so many oreums and caves on one small island.

Jeju Island is a beautiful island that shines four times in UNESCO, from the world geological park, biosphere reserve, world natural heritage to the intangible cultural heritage of humanity.
This is unprecedented in the world, and Jeju has jumped into a "treasure island of environmental assets" that people around the world must cultivate and preserve together.

Jeju Island is a tourist destination that attracts tens of thousands of tourists every year due to its beautiful scenery and uncontaminated natural environment. For more information on tourism, please refer to the Jeju Tourism Organization website.
